Cornelius, North Carolina: The Palace is pleased to announce it will begin showing free movies for children during its monthly artisan market. Kid-friendly movies will be held in Theater 2 at 11am and 1pm the third Saturday of every month. Free popcorn will also be available. During the May 21st event, The Palace plans to show Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Gulliver’s Travels. The Palace Artisan Market & Bazaar takes place the third Saturday of each month from 10am until 3pm. May 21, 2011 is the next scheduled event. Vendors are invited rent space and set up shop in The Palace parking lot to sell arts, crafts, jewelry, professional services, etc. Interested vendors may contact Maura Reddington at maura@platinum-realty.com or 704-349-3331 to reserve a space for $15. Theaters at The Palace range in size, and can accommodate many different types of corporate and private events including training sessions, private film screenings, presentations, customer appreciation events, birthday parties, association meetings and more. The spaces are multi-media ready with a large screen and have comfortable seating. The Palace also offers groups a convenient location, ample parking, audio/visual support, and catering/beverage services. You may also advertise your event on the marquee. EVENT: Meet The Authors book festival is a unique opportunity to meet your favorite Authors, get signed copies of the latest books, and take home fresh new ideas for self-publishing. We hope to see you there! WHEN: On Saturday, April 9th, 2011 from 10am to 8pm the “Meet The Authors Indoor Street Festival” gets under way. The highlight of the indoor street festival is the meeting of your favorite Authors, with more than a hundred Authors reading and discussing their work, more than a hundred Publishers and Booksellers will exhibit and sell books, with special features like the Antiquarians, who showcases signed first editions, original manuscripts and other collectibles.
